They are very comfortable and cotton is better for my skin than some of the washable polyester masks I have tried. However, they give a little after washing and drying because it is cotton. (This was fine for me because they were a little big for my face at first, but if they fit you well straight out of the box you might find them too tight afterwards.) And yes, as mentioned, the pleats lose their definition when dry afterwards , but it seems to me it is not critical. Wrinkles stretch when wearing a mask, so what does it matter? The adjustable ear straps are nice too.
