I ordered two of these because I was tired of slipping a 1 1/2 inch strap through the loops of my women's jeans. Received them today and was disappointed to see that the inside of the belt wasn't the suede finish I was expecting but some sort of smooth layer that was glued or glued to the base layer of the belt. the inner layer was smooth and shiny and slightly swollen in places. It was definitely not the original belt leather. This is called a re-glued skin because the layers are glued together. Over time, the layers diverge from each other. That's what I expected with these straps, so I sent them back.
