The receiver is microscopic, which catches much worse. The old set has a large receiver on a long wire, which could be raised higher, thereby increasing the reception range. I'm ating my review, it's been a few months. Now the receiver began to disappear from the system, I thought the problem was in the ports on the motherboard, but no, it's the same on other machines. Changed batteries, reinstalled Windows, it's not about them. It looks like this: the mouse and keyboard, if they are not used for some time (5-10 minutes), stop working until you distort the USB receiver, and if you just remove it and plug it back in, then nothing happens, you plug it into another port - it is detected and starts work. There were thoughts that some kind of sleep mode works for USB devices, but the wired mouse and webcam do not “fall asleep” like that, this only happens with this kit. The keyboard has one more feature - you type the text, but nothing happens, after a few seconds the printed text is printed sharply, as if the keyboard saves it into the buffer and then, when the connection appears, it spits out sharply, that is, blind typing is impossible, you need to control constantly - whether text is being typed. And this is at a distance of 60 cm from the receiver from the keyboard . The online store where I bought the kit decided that the guarantee for the keyboard and mouse is 2 weeks.
