I find it easier to sew.

I buy coils pre-wound because I hate spending time building them myself. Some machines wind the bobbins unevenly no matter what you do and I don't have time for that. I buy spools in black and white as well as a color palette of over 70 colors. Whenever I need a spool, I'll be up and running in minutes, regardless of the color of fabric used. Prewound bobbins do not break or get caught in thread nests as easily as machinewound bobbins. Each spool has a uniform thread distribution.

Pros
