Cut short but oddly curled head

It's hard to tell how close this shave is. As a female, I only use it to trim my eyebrows, nose hair and some frizzy chin hair, so it doesn't take much trimming to see how it works. So I used it on my arm to see if it cuts really close to the skin and it does it well. I'm used to these trimmers which tend to have a very frizzy or sharp cutting blade that hurts when you push down to make a tight cut. feel it but it cuts. I still don't have the blade guards that are supposed to provide different lengths of cut, but I can't get more than one length of each guard so I don't see how. Get three different lengths from one shelter. I don't need more than two lengths I can calculate so they fit my needs. Longer handle than most trimmers of this type. For some reason it was decided that two AAA batteries were better than one AA battery, which allowed the size of the body to be reduced. Not a big body fan. Not a fan of the flexible head either. Doesn't really help and isn't really needed as these trimmers are so articulated you can use them at almost any angle and uneven skin doesn't need the flexible head of this type of trimmer. I see a flex head on a mesh trimmer/shaver, but this target trimmer doesn't need it - as for my needs, I have yet to find a use for the flex head. Since the small and cheap ones are around $9 and do the same job, they only have brushed blades.
