This is the most comfortable wrist rest I have ever used. The white color lets you see the dirt, but I think that's a good thing, because otherwise grotesque layers of dirt can build up unnoticed. The first time I tried cleaning it I didn't have much luck wiping it down with soapy paper towels, but . . . Miraculously, it survived the wash in my washing machine! Washed in warm water with regular laundry soap. It looked almost new, except the pen stains hadn't gone away. I am very happy that I chose this product!
