Decent system with no problems running cables around the house or yard

Setup was pretty standard. The operating system is designed for monitoring only. When you turn it on for the first time, it will walk you through the setup. Location, date, time, etc. Comes with a mouse to navigate the interface. The picture is 720p through the lens but 1080p on a TV or monitor. If you are familiar with the first version of the ring or nest, the clarity of night and day vision is the same. It comes with an app that you can use when you're not at home. App and DVR. You can select the segments you want to keep for whatever reason and change the scale. These are TRULY wireless as long as you don't place them near an outlet or use a longer power adapter or extension cord. It is definitely the best value for money compared to other systems. It's not compatible with smart devices for those wondering, hence the price list, but don't quote me, I'll have to double-check. I believe the NVR can support up to 8 cameras, of course with the purchase of additional devices. The holes in the camara stand are small, but each camera comes with 4 screws and 4 anchors. I've also used liquid nails for a more permanent effect, it's just a safety measure but that's my own approach. The interface corresponds to a standard system used in a retail store or petrol station if you have experience in this area. Serves a purpose.
