I usually wear a belt like pantyhose or one from my former employer (the army) and I like this one because when I'm in a hurry, paying my water bill, I can unzip it in half a second and get back to my chores. The elasticity of nylon is new to me, but I can somehow make this strap tighter than my normal ones without being uncomfortable. All in all, I don't see myself going back to the old ones. There are similar straps and I chose not to use them because my refusal to give up pizza caused my abdominal area to get good but due to the pinching in relation to the buckle and I will report that this one does not caused such problem. Highly recommended.
