This is a fantastic set! The colors are what I expected from the pictures. In real life, some shadows seem to shimmer, but they don't wear that way. Appears matte when applied. This includes an eye primer, which I think really makes the colors pop. Without a primer, the colors are much more muted, making it easy for a grown lady to wear to work. Since the colors can also look very strong with a primer, this is also a great set for young ladies. I'm really in love with blush and black eyeliner as I think they are perfect for me. I would prefer to buy them individually. At first, as mentioned by another, I found the eyeliner very hard and dry and I didn't really fall in love with it. but when I apply the primer before the liner I find it very creamy and applies beautifully. does not pull or twitch at all and the black is very rich and stays true for hours. This is actually one of my all time favorite eyeliners as long as I use it with a primer. The blush is simply the most beautiful color in a vibrant yet soft pink that has both blue and peachy undertones, once again giving a very healthy natural glow. This can work for any skin tone. I have a set of brushes that I absolutely love (Azuka natural makeup brushes are available here at Revain) so I didn't use the brushes that come with the set, but for everything else this is an absolute winner and will always accompany me no matter how I travel! So sleek and compact, and it fits perfectly in my regular makeup bag. Now I can throw away a bunch of old makeup. I love love LOVE it! It's a beautiful combination of cool and warm tones that makes it perfect for any skin tone.
