I read the reviews and bought the 3X. I wear a size 24 swimsuit and usually wear 2x. So I ordered 1 size bigger. It fits snugly around my arms which is perfect for water activities. The shirt is long enough to wear around your hips (as long as it stays in place during your workout). I bought this shirt to wear during my water aerobics classes, the water is too cold for my workout and it added a much needed extra layer. I highly recommend this shirt layered over your swimwear to wear in the water or on the beach.
