I love this bag. I use it as a work bag. It's perfect for my 11" MacBook Air, work laptops, a small lunch, and a coffee mug. The zipper is on the back so a thief can't get to it, and it also has an anti-theft hook. The material is waterproof. I am walked in the rain and nothing came through. Outside pockets are not protected against theft. There is a loop with a key ring so you can attach it to your chair when you are in a coffee shop so no one can just walk away with your bag. Inside there It has a laptop compartment and internal side pockets and pen space but no zip pocket. I put my wallet in the internal side pocket. It's really pretty and comfortable. I've been diligently searching for a work backpack that's small (not huge), easy to use, and anti-theft is because I live in a big city and this one is perfect. In the summer I might use a different color. I'm sure that it will also work for travel.
