Our dishwasher was completely ruined by hard water before I even knew it. It has accumulated all over with many very thick spots. I've searched the internet and tried everything including vinegar, cool help but no success. Did little work. Finally came citric acid. I ran the dishwasher all the way through with 2 tablespoons of citric acid in the detergent drawer. The whole dishwasher shines again. Shelves and hard-to-reach places are usually washed away by buildup. I am sure that the dishwasher will be like new after the 2nd and 3rd rinse. I didn't like the packaging. According to the company's website, it was repackaged from a large 50-pound sack into a plain plastic bag. Due to the careless packaging and the fact that citric acid is in the form of a white powder with an unpleasant smell, it gives me an uncanny feeling of poison. I know I'm too careful sometimes but still hope they can be packed with the bottle, sealed/unsealed, can be labeled in detail etc. This gives customers more peace of mind especially when we need to order online and first a product that looks trustworthy.
