Bought the lavender vanilla that was sent to me, it doesn't actually smell like lavender, it smells more like baby powder, reminds me of baby powder in a diaper. Bought to mask the smell of kitty litter in the bathroom seems to do that, but this scent is actually not the scent I like in my house. I ordered a second one before it was open for a while which I regret. I think if you find the right scent it will mask the scent. I'm not sure if it really takes it away, but I don't seem to smell any trash at all when I go to the bathroom. I'll try fresh cotton. I hope they sent it to the bathroom clean and fresh. I wish lavender actually smelled like lavender. You should change his name to baby powder as that would be a more accurate description. The litter box is in a very small bathroom in my house and the odor absorber is right next to it, when you enter the bathroom there is no litter box smell at all, you would never know there is a litter box. I clean my tray once a day sometimes twice a day but before I put it in the room there was still a smell coming from the tray. It definitely does the job. I plan to try a different flavor. But definitely felt like it was worth the money as it is a guest bathroom.
