Review on KOVEA Booster 1 Gas Stove by gnes DeinnFehr ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good product, more pros than cons.

When traveling through the outback, where gas cylinders are not available, the multi-fuel burner is simply out of competition.

Pros
  • Made solidly, parts included and tools for field repairs. Everything is disassembled, cleaned and repaired - reliably like military equipment. As I understand it, nozzles can be bought in any village. They are called jets.
Cons
  • - The biggest set-up is that the pump must be stored away from the bottle, but does not have caps that cover surfaces that come into contact with gasoline. I had to find them and buy them separately. I found it on ebay, since the craftsmen who are doing something have not yet died out. - Gas consumption is 4 times more than on gas burners, because multi-fuel is designed primarily for gasoline. For short trips or for a group of less than 5 people, we use a gas burner instead. - The wrapper on the bottle softened from the constant action of gasoline, went wrinkled, torn and gasoline began to leak. I had to cut it off the neck of the bottle.
