I've always dreamed of having one of these for watching movies. I've used them at work for years but have never pulled the trigger to buy one knowing that replacing lightbulbs has historically been expensive and the living room brightness didn't work. But I couldn't resist the cheap price. of it and the light source is now LED. Apparently it will take longer. So I decided to give it a try. Since we are working from home we need to find some entertainment! I just opened it yesterday after receiving it for a few days. Not bad for the price. This is true 1080p HD. I use it in the basement, so the brightness seems sufficient. The communication is good. many ports and wireless projection is also available. There's a built-in speaker, but don't expect too much from it. I use a sound bar. So overall it's good, give it a try. Worst case, just send it back for free.
