Review on 🌞 LCD Monitor Sunshade Sunhood for LILLIPUT 667Gl by Bill Guy

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great sun visor for my Nexus 7 tablet when flying a quadcopter!

I'm using ASUS (2013) Google's Nexus 7 Tablet (7" 32GB Black) as an FPV video/camera monitor while piloting a DJI Phantom 2 Vision Quadcopter with built-in FPV video camera (White). This sun visor works great for the Nexus 7. It fits in front of the front of the tablet, not around the outside edges. It took me a bit of experimenting to get it to fit properly, but when I did I was very pleased and it was solid and snug.I'll keep this review going add some tips in case it helps others who buy this monitor sunshade for nexus 7 or similar sized device I have this sunshade combined with KaysCase X-shape TPU back cover for a Google Nexus Android 4.1 Jelly Bean 7" Tablet (black) used and installed on my TX Controller with RevainBasics Universal Windshield and Smartphone Dash Mount, GPS and Tablets iPhone and Samsung Galaxy. The tablet case, universal mount and sun visor fit perfectly and work together. To install the sun visor on a Nexus 7 or similar monitor or tablet: 1. Place the back of the hood on a table, hood facing up. The three sides of the hood should stand at their edges, with the large top facing away from you and the two angled side panels facing you. The two attached Velcro straps should lie flat on the table and extend towards you from the top.2. Lay the tablet on the back wall over the two Velcro fasteners. Install the three edges of the sun visor over the edges of the monitor.3. Fold the left velcro strap over the bottom edge of the monitor and up through the bottom left corner of the monitor. Insert it between the bezel of the monitor and the left edge of the sunshade, about halfway down the left edge of the monitor. The free end of the Velcro now protrudes over the left side of the sun canopy. Wrap it around the left rear corner of the sun canopy, wrap it around the top left edge of the canopy and attach to the Velcro on the top left corner of the canopy. The left Velcro should now emerge from behind the bottom left edge of the monitor, exit through the bottom left edge of the monitor and out the left side between the monitor bezel and cover, and then wrap around the outer rear left corner of the monitor. Attach the hood and to the Velcro tab at the top of the hood.4. Repeat the same with the right Velcro, pass it under the bottom right edge of the monitor, come out on the right side between the glass surface and the sun visor, wrap it around the outer right edge of the hood and around the corner at the top on the hood and attach it to the right velcro tab at the top of the hood.5. Take a loose Velcro strip (the one that isn't attached to anything) and place the soft side against the underside of the back of the monitor about 1/2 inch from the bottom edge, wrap each end around the sides of the sun visor and fasten and attach it to the sides of the hood with Velcro. The three sides of the sun hood should now be facing out at the top and sides of the monitor. You can adjust the strips to fit snugly. The strip on the back fits Hold the two velcro straps holding the loose strap on the back of the monitor to keep it from falling off, so I just have to wrap the two ends of this strap around the sides of the sun visor to attach it to the Monitor. Overall I am very happy with this sun hood for my Nexus 7 as an FPV monitor for my quadcopter.

Pros
  • Does the job accurately
Cons
  • Velcro for attachment to the top and sides of the display. There's no back, in case you're wondering.
