I ordered these wire covers saying "I'm really tired of looking at all those wires! New year, new me! Let's get some chores done!" I received it and immediately put it aside for two weeks, until finally I got tired of looking at the unopened box and just decided to do something I thought I'd do it was going to be a project. It turned out that the hardest part was removing the protective backing of the adhesive that held the lids to the wall and that was the hardest part (I don't have a free edge of my nail, so I had to use a butter knife to get the paper out of the tape. It literally took me 5 minutes to make a small but open section. Now I'm actively looking for exposed wires because A) I'm just obsessed and B) I have a TON of caps, corner clips, and scraps of tape.The only trick I can suggest is that after you've assembled the two pieces of the white cap, you have to make sure they snap together. Da that's everything! I'm so glad I found motivation to finally cover my pesky TV cords!
