These work well! I have a lot of hair, and they clamp down and hold it out of the way while styling. You do have to make sure to get the bottom half attached to a big enough section to anchor it, or it will come unraveled, but that’s easy to figure out after some momentary trial and error. Overall, they seem strong and easy to use!
