Bought this earlier this year and wasn’t sure when I’d wear it. Living in Phoenix, and having had skin cancer, I needed as much skin coverage, that I could find, while outside. I had forgotten some of the features that turned out to be "exciting”. The hat has a place for a pony tail to be pulled through. Nice. It has a wide brim. Nice. It is big enough for my big noggin and has an adjustable band if needed. Nice. The flap in the back goes to about the mid shoulder blade area. I didn’t know there is a snap so that flap can be snapped to the base of the hat to make it about half size, so to about the top of the shoulders. Nice. And it’s waterproof! Don’t think I knew that. Wore it in the lake and water never penetrated the fabric. Amazing! Kept me nice and shaded while spending a 115 degree day at the lake in Arizona. My new lake hat.
