Large group prone to irritation from others!
I bought a similar piece of fabric that kept me swimming and bathing for a year. It's not recommended for water, but the strap that comes with the Fitbit causes terrible skin irritation. I would say that the durability so far is very good. It's much more comfortable than the original strap and no longer annoying. I have a metal sensitivity but so far there has been no irritation from it and I have had it for several months. I used to pay about the same for a band so I love that it comes with two bands!
