Will definitely protect your board from accidental bumps, splashes etc. All the good things the protector is selling you are true so I don't need to repeat them here. But I'd like to have two additional features: a liner holder; and a slightly modernized closure system. Each board comes with at least one liner with background lines or charts for you to use. However, this board itself does not hold the liner in place too much. This protector should protect the liner as well as the board, maybe with a sleeve for the liner to slide in from the back, whatever. From the looks of it, the liner still slips every now and then, which is more annoying than harmful. This is a way to improve the product. An improved closure system would also greatly improve the product because honestly even if the closure is a little stronger it probably holds the liner better eliminating the need for the previous feature. It is currently a three-point claw "clamp" with two fixed claws on the open side and one movable claw on the back side. The moveable claw moves slightly, ostensibly to insert and remove the plate. But in my opinion it's too easy. The spring force needs to be a bit stronger to keep the protector from sliding up and down the board, or maybe a second moveable claw on the side of the spine would help. Definitely it will improve. Overall, the product has 3.5-4 stars. With some improvements it could easily become a 5 star product.
