That has definitely shaped my life when it comes to toothbrushes. Difficult to wash in small holes. I don't know if you can put this in the dishwasher. You can put the cups in the top rack of the dishwasher. I know this because my husband used to wash dishes and put them in and everything was fine. They have holes for the water to flow back. That's how it goes over my counter. But that's not all I like. Children can take toothbrushes and brush their teeth before bed, in the afternoon and after breakfast. And it keeps my counters more organized. I gave it 5 stars for durability because we have multiple kids and it hasn't broken yet. I have three children under the age of 6. We have a cup for each child. And they're color-coded to prevent fights.
