I use it to extend the cord on my iStuff. Zipper cords can be expensive, especially long ones. Just extend the existing one with this regular USB cable. Of course, you can also use it for anything else that requires a longer USB(2). By the way, I have an old USB extender that doesn't work with my iStuff. This one will. I've always had good luck with Monoprice. Now I choose them over competitors for that reason alone. Their lower prices are good too, but other cut-price sellers' stuff doesn't always work. (I learned this the hard way.)
