I chose these as the main and fill light for Zoom calls to work. It's pretty dark in my home office, and on cloudy days my webcam struggles to get a clear picture. I liked that they came with articulating arms so I could double duty by using them to light up my desk for remote card/board games with friends. They are very suitable for this purpose. However, there is a small nuance. These lights are definitely small and a bit harsh. They're not as intrusive as giant softboxes, but they can't give off the same soft glow. I expected it and was more than satisfied with the result. Just don't buy them expecting the same performance as a giant softbox. On the other hand, its small size is very convenient to place it discreetly on either side of my computer monitor and have plenty of space to work even if my desk is against the wall.
