I'm embarrassed to admit I've spent hundreds of dollars on keyboard covers, cases, etc. for your iPad Pro 12.9, always looking for the right combination of protection, comfort and features. I have a Logitech keyboard that works great but is awkward to use when I want to use my Apple Pencil. I have a Zagg keyboard which also works well and makes it easy to detach the iPad from the keyboard when I want to use my Apple Pencil. But the body is hard and heavy like a laptop. And there is no pen holder. I bought a paperback with a pencil holder, which is great if I just want to use an iPad with an Apple Pencil. But it didn't fit the Apple keyboard. This case has it all: a nice soft protective shell with a pen holder that fits an Apple keyboard and doesn't lift the corners of the Zagg Shield glass cover I have on my iPad. Best of all, it's only $!5. Highly recommended.
