Review on Stay Hydrated On Your Outdoor Adventures With The GPMTER 2L Hydration Bladder - Leak-Proof, Insulated, And Easy To Clean by Madison Dickinson

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great value, excellent customer service, hundred percent satisfaction guarantee.

I was looking for a low-cost bladder that I could use on the trail. I didn’t think I needed a cap and I could just refill it on the trail using my MSR portable pump filter system. When I received this bladder, I quickly realized that you cannot remove the mouthpiece which would allow me to refill it while on the trail . I figured I would use it anyway and refill it by the top opening. The problem with the top opening is that it is very difficult to slide open. Throughout the system at different connections, they use a very thin oil. This oil used at the top of the sliding thing either allows you to move it open quickly or not at all. So when using plenty of force to slide this open, the moment that the slider is able to move it flies open. I think it would’ve been a better situation if it was just a lot of slow resistance when opening it rather than this either all or nothing. It’s something that I think could break in, but we are going for speed on this hike next week, and I really cannot be fidgeting around with this. See photos and video for the slide process.UPDATE: Seller reached out soon after my initial review of two stars, and was very kind to refund my order. Going into purchasing this bladder full knowing that the end does’t detach, and the clip is rough at first has me reconsidering the stars to a full 5. I’m going from two stars to five stars because customer service was very quick, they had 100% satisfaction guarantee, and the even sent a little gift. The bladder clip opens and closes pretty easily now that the production sickness has gone away . It’s very very easy to clean and is much lighter than the ones you get at Walmart. Now, if they produced an additional unsheathed and removable tipped hose, it would be very very easy to switch these out with their proprietary clip system. Now, if they offered that, I would wants him to take the money and I would purchase the additional hose.

Pros
  • Cleaning the bladder is incredibly easy and convenient, even after prolonged use.
Cons
  • The bladder may be difficult to clean if you're out in the wilderness without access to running water
