Phone charging works fine. Watch charging, on the other hand, is intermittent. I know when my Apple Watch is connected and starting to charge because it makes a *ding* noise and bed mode shows the time for a few seconds. This only happens on the first connection. More than I would like, I am woken up several times a night by this *ringing* of the watch plugging into the charger. This means the watch is not securely connected for continuous charging. I don't know what else to do other than tighten the watch strap as much as possible to make sure the connection stays tight, but I shouldn't be doing that. It should be placed on the watch portion of the charger, make a noise, and stay in that position until I remove it. I wasn't impressed with this charger and am considering returning it.
