These new shift knobs are great. You are solid. Huge improvement over stock. I just attached them to my 2018 JK. It only lasted a few minutes. Very easy to install. Using a flathead screwdriver, remove the bottom of the factory buttons. Then lift the three tabs at the top of the gear knobs. The handles come off easily. Next, don't forget to remove the rubber pieces from the DV8 knobs to gain access to the hex screw that needs to be tightened to secure them. If you want to keep the factory buttons, be very careful when pulling out the bottom part and try not to pry the three tabs located at the bottom of the top part too far.
