I had an older 75Hz version of this monitor that was very reliable. This 144Hz version has the same picture quality and much better gaming performance, it's amazing how much smoother things have gotten. Both monitors are connected to the RX580 GPU for a noticeably better gaming experience. However, the KG241Q at 144Hz showed an intermittent black screen when gaming and fell back to HDMI. I had a high speed HDMI but thought maybe the cable was bad and bought a new 8K HDMI cable but still got a black screen. Eventually I switched to a 4K Displayport cable and the black screens were gone. The screens have good viewing angles and there are no dead pixels today.
