Got this to put together a dual monitor workstation to hook up my laptop to at home due to the new life of COVID 19. It works absolutely no frills. All ports work, although the response time seems a bit slow. It's like there's a very, very slight lag. For those who don't work the docks often, it probably won't be noticed. It's not the most annoying thing and most likely won't register on most people. The worst thing is the design - pretty terrible. It's like a cable octopus that can't fix your desk no matter how hard you try. Having a wireless keyboard and mouse will ease the pain, but I work on personal documents and can't use a wireless keyboard. Also, there is no power port or power button to wake up the laptop without opening it. on what another crap is. It also makes another cord to add to the others snaking around your desk. It wasn't said to have a power port or power button, so my fault, but this dock lacks the convenience I'm used to. If you've never used the amenities mentioned, then this is a great $40 buy. They've since raised the price a bit as everyone buys them to set up a hime office. Hopefully the prices will fall.
