As a replacement, I decided to go with the Genius NetScroll 120, which turned out to be an excellent choice. However, as the years have progressed, it has grown increasingly noisy, and while it is still functional, I would prefer a more responsive device. PS2: no longer satisfies my needs, I do not require an additional radio channel, thus I have it hardwired with USB. The M100 performs a little more easily and precisely than its predecessor, and the resolution of 1000 dpi, which can be found on the manufacturer's website, is not a record but is adequate.
