Very good but needs bright lighting

As a bestselling author of 19 books, I do many podcasts and video interviews that require better setup than what comes with my laptop. I used a Logitech camera with separate sound and light to ensure good quality and when it died I was looking for a high end camera without a built in microphone. This one is both good and bad. It's easy to mount on a bipod or stand, has excellent autofocus, a near-perfect zoom length for my needs (tight upper-body shot about 2-3 feet from the camera), and works reasonably well in good light (there's a some loss of clarity at streaming speeds of 30 fps, but that's still 1080p or better), but it performs pretty poorly in low light. I have studio lighting so it's not a big deal to me, but it might be to others. There's no on/off indicator to let you know it's working, but it comes with a lens cap and plugs in easily. In general I like it.
