There are a few flaws, but in general they work well

This is my first experience with bone conduction headphones. Overall I like the concept and they seem to work reasonably well, but I feel their price is higher than the value they offer. In general, they work moderately well. I use them for very long runs where it's important for me to hear what's going on around me. Normally when I turn them on, the phone recognizes them and connects to them within 10 seconds. It has basic functions including pause/play, answer/reject calls, volume control and the ability to skip to the previous/next song. the sound is deaf. I either figured it out or just got used to it because they sound good most of the time now, but there are definitely some voices I have a hard time hearing like the caller is underwater. With outgoing calls at the other end I cannot hear anything. For normal operation everything is fine. With the iPhone volume set to around 70%, I can easily hear people talking to me from across the room. The maximum volume is too loud, but near the maximum volume seems normal. What I think they could improve: It takes a bit of force to push the buttons, and that force goes straight to my skull. It's not a big deal if you're not fiddling with the controls too much, but if you're constantly skipping songs, it gets boring quickly. It took me a while, but I finally figured out the pattern of how many clicks do what. The charging cable is entirely proprietary, and if you lose that particular cable, good luck replacing it. Various facial gestures change how I listen to music. I'm sure it's normal with this type of headset, but it's a bit annoying when I turn my head and the sound cuts out and then I look straight ahead and the full sound comes back. Overall I think they're ok, but the price seems high for something that doesn't feel as perfect as I would expect for that much money.

Pros
  • Advanced Bluetooth 5.0
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.
