Hello this is Glamorous Gem, I hope you all have a wonderful weekend, it can be tougher on the hair than anything else. Therefore, wood or even aluminum are good choices as they last longer and are more reliable than traditional combs. This set is a prime example because this set is made of high quality aluminum. It is wear-resistant and heat-resistant compared to plastic. I won't lie, aluminum is quite thinner than a regular plastic comb, but it's not bulky or heavy. This saves space and is not so heavy in the hand. They have a good grip and the comb teeth are not sharp. They are blunt and move easily through the hair without much resistance. They look high quality and it is a very nice set. Ultimately, that's a lot for four quality combs, and it doesn't hurt to use them. I like it overall compared to the hair sets in the store, just wish it was a bit thicker in the metal section but it will fit.
