Review on ๐Ÿ”Œ Ultimate Charging Solution: PowerA Charging Stand for PlayStation 4 by Clete Dean

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Pros and cons at a glance (updated)

Pros: Good for charging and presenting if that's what you're looking for. It uses a USB connection. Cons: The cord is a fixed length, ranging from 2 1/2 to 3 feet. It uses a small dongle/tab that plugs into the micro USB port on the controller and is very easy to lose. I was hoping for a charger that uses a different port on the Dualshock 4. Adding a dongle seems totally unnecessary when a second larger port can be used. And it's not clear from the pictures or the description if a key is needed. Update: It works fine for charging, the dongle sits firmly on the controller and displays the controller well next to my Turtle Beach headset. Single stand is a plus, display and charging (I have a 20 year old model in PS1 colors which sits great when I'm not using my Orange Sunset dual shock Dukes of Hazzard themes. I toggle between two knobs and the key is Just annoying I bought a second device with dual controllers for charging on switching A perk with this charger/cradle I put it on my bedside table while I watch TV/movies and it's great for dropped or accidental gamepad bumped into this and caused fast forward or rewind.I really don't like using a dongle instead of an alternate charging port.It can be toggled on or off by pressing the base with a hard click. On and off they need to be disabled.
