Okay, the fact that it holds an apple might only be useful for still life artists looking for a compact travel mini easel, but it's just good to know. Right? This little coaster is AMAZING. It's a lot stronger than you think. He holds my Galaxy Tab S4 with supreme confidence. The stand doesn't wobble at all. As soon as you feel its weight, you will understand that it will be very strong. You can adjust it to different angles quickly and easily by pressing the large button on the hinge. Once you press the button you can hold it and move it to any angle you like or move your foot back a LIGHT, you can release the button and it will stay pressed until it reaches the next set angle. There are MANY corners. i counted A total of 23 corners can be set. Since the stand rotates 270 degrees, I believe only 9 of those 23 settings can be used if you want to add a bar to the front to hold a desk, phone, etc. Of those 9 corners, I found I actually only used 2, 3 or em', so don't worry about the other 14 corners. You just have to know that if you want to get creative with this thing, it will give you angles. For fun, you can use it as a handy pen holder if you want (see photo). I love that there is a removable insert for phones or tablets with cases, even thick ones (see photo). I would think it would be really cool if there was a neat little place on the stand itself to store the bet as you can lose the bet if you don't keep an eye on it. The insert does not "snap" into the lip, but appears to be firmly wedged. It's well designed. I tried shaking out the liner but it didn't move. Yes, you CAN open it with one hand (see photo), but you may have to lean it against your leg, a table, or something. Bought 2 of these because I love them so much and you never know when you might need them. We can enjoy a brief moment of calm over a meal. Love it. Would recommend to anyone looking for a tablet/phone stand or mini travel easel. I hope that was helpful.
