Review on EWO's 5J.JEE05.001 / 5J.J7L05.001 Projector Lamp Bulb - Benq HT2050 HT3050 HT2150ST HT4050 HT2050A W1070 W1080st HT1075 HT1085st MH530FHD MH535FHD - Replacement by Travis Carter

When I first installed this lamp it was underpowered. I am correcting my one star rating. It turns out I installed it incorrectly. First you need to mount the lamp in a heavier die-cast metal housing. Then put a thinner metal cage over the lamp. My first failed attempt was to put the lamp in a thin metal case and then attach it to a cast metal base. This created a large gap, sufficient for only half the light output to reach the lens. On closer inspection, this lamp is almost identical to the original lamp in my projector. I'm only giving 2 stars out of 5 because the EXACT SAME BULB is available for $12 less here: https://amzn.to/2RAvqw8 I know because I ordered a different bulb and thought it was defective. I will return this one and get another one as a backup from the seller who has it cheaper.
