The USB-C cable to the laptop is too short, barely 10 inches, so not much room to move my laptop. Also, the docking station doesn't have its own power supply and cuts power from the laptop, and my laptop keeps complaining about excessive power consumption. Both of those issues have been fixed, so far it's been a great device and a must have for adding extra ports and displays to the laptop. The construction is solid and the connections are stable and reliable. I never tested the power rating, but should work with most laptops. I wasn't aware of mine either, but it works great with it, except I have to plug in my laptop in an hour or so, but I don't really care. I would definitely recommend it to anyone for the price and quality.
