My 3 year old daughter is learning to swim and her swimming teacher uses ducks to encourage her to swim and to collect them. We bought her to use when we go swimming with her. They are very sweet. They swim on her side (not top right) and she enjoys swimming and collecting ducks in the pool. (If too much water gets into the duck, it will drown in the pool, tub, etc.) However, there is a hole at the bottom of the ducks and water gets in, so mold/mildew eventually becomes a problem. In the meantime, let's enjoy the ducks and play with them. They are cute characters and we have a wide range of different ducks.
