An MP3 player that evokes nostalgic memories of old Philips cassette players.

This MP3 cassette player is a fun throwback to the old Philips cassettes. This player is of course not identical in every way as it doesn't use magnetic tape to store and play music but instead has a modern electronic MP3 player inside. the number of MP3 files to copy to the player. To do this, use a USB-A-Micro USB cable and connect the player to a computer. The player will then appear on the computer as a normal external storage device, e.g. B. a USB stick. Music files or whole folders with music files can then be dragged onto the player. Player controls are simple and easy to learn and use. The included instructions are clear and easy to understand. However, there is no display and therefore no menu system or a more complex user interface. There are no search functions for music, genre categories, etc. This makes this player more accurate than the original mechanical cassette, which played back sequentially. Likewise, there are controls to rewind, fast forward, and skip to the previous song or next song. However, there is a shuffle function, so the playback order is random. In my experience, this player is best used in the same way that blank cassette tapes have often been used. The user selected their favorite tracks from other media and then recorded a copy of each selected track onto a blank tape in the user's desired playback order. This is how I use this player. I copy my current favorites to the player for a specific action. If I need a different set of options, I clear the currently loaded ones and replace them with a new set. Other times I download a large number of my favorite songs of all genres and choose to play them in random order. I find the sound quality to be quite good with a good volume control range. There is no problem connecting the AUX input to a set of amplified speakers or a real Hi-Fi amplifier. The dynamic range and the frequency correction are sufficient for my taste. Others may perceive it differently. I have no problem recommending this player to anyone who can enjoy the unique and nostalgic form factor of a great sounding and functional MP3 player. I continue to enjoy mine every day.
