To be clear I probably wouldn't want to use this on a daily basis. I assume, as others have seen, it doesn't take much wear and tear to make it less useful. But after being unexpectedly stuck in my car for over an hour on a closed freeway, I realized I needed a portable option that could be used behind the front seats that I could just leave in the trunk. My larger, more durable Stansport camp toilet takes up too much space to leave in the car all the time. This toilet is oval instead of round like the smaller ones and therefore has a larger base and seat. It's still pretty short... if you're having trouble getting up and down, you might be better off using a 5-gallon bucket-style portable toilet, although the extra height of about two inches of this collapsible toilet compares to the more common smaller versions helps some.. . My 150 pound adult wife fits it well and it doesn't feel unstable despite the stapled cardboard and leather construction. Not exactly convenient, but writing in an emergency? Ideal. Added a few disposable Camco packs and now I'm ready for the next time that tree blocks the freeway and leaves me stranded.
