This is a small battery operated vanity mirror, very light and perfect for me. My outlet is nowhere near my cosmetics and I had to put corn on my faucet! It comes with a charging cable but no box and I tried one of my phone boxes but the light was too dim. After I put the batteries in, the lighting was perfect! I haven't used it for travel (haven't traveled since the pandemic) but I think it will travel fine. Another great feature is 1x (large main mirror), 2x, 3x (left side) and 10x mirror (detachable round mirror with suction cups). We have bought more expensive mirrors over the years and this is by far my favorite!
