which works great. Except that I have to shave a bit.
When I received this part I thought it was a simple design that shouldn't cost that much. The base cost must be calculated relative to the red and white Manfrotto symbol, but the rest is base. I sent it back and went to the hardware store to buy a bolt, washer and nut that work great. Aside from having to shave the outside diameter of the washer a bit to get it to fit properly, I found this to be a simple fix for a very expensive alternative, which is shameful practice by Manfrotto. The item arrived pretty quickly though.
