I've read a thousand product reviews and searched for a small bento box that 1. fits in my 4 year old's lunch box, 2. can withstand multiple washes in the dishwasher and 3. can do that without strangers Open and close help. These fit the bill! They fit perfectly in a Lands End lunch bag with a 12 ounce water bottle and a slim ice pack. The compartments consist of 2 strong liners (one is separate, the other is not) therefore there are no small separate plastic walls to create dividers and no leaks under the dividers. So far I haven't had an issue with juice leaking from one section to the other when the box is turned on its side, but I don't usually add foods with a lot of liquid, which may be why. They also last longer than I expected. My 4 year old has no trouble opening the lid (big win as most containers spill food all over the place when she finally takes the lid off). It's not cheap, but they're worth it.
