I love the Apple Earbuds that came with my iPhone but the only thing I don't like about them is that they aren't wireless so I'm on tied a cable. I also don't have a 3mm audio jack on the iPhone 8, so I can't charge my iPhone using my Apple Earbuds plugged into it. I wanted to be wireless and also be able to charge my iPhone. When I was listening to music, I thought about buying Apple wireless earbuds, but they were too expensive for me. After doing a little research I decided to buy these wireless earbuds and I'm glad I did. Firstly, one of the reasons I chose these wireless headphones was because I already have a portable rechargeable speaker from this brand and I really like their speakers. Another reason was that the shape of the earbuds was almost identical in design to my Apple wired earbuds, which I find to be the most comfortable. FIRST IMPRESSION: The case is surprisingly compact and thin. It looks very modern and sleek, and I'm pleased to find a USB-C charging port on the back instead of the old micro-USB port. The earbuds charge via a magnetized connector, so they stay in place and stay secure in the case (even if you turn them upside down). The light green around the ear cups looks cool and goes well with the white. The shape of the ear tips was the same as the Apple earbuds I have so they were very comfortable and fitted well. ACTUAL USE: Pairing was very easy, just like any other bluetooth device. The sound quality was surprisingly good and very loud. People around me could hear the music I was listening to and I can actually hear it quite loud even when I'm not wearing it in my ears. I didn't hear any distortion, noise or clipping when using it. A single tap on either earbud will pause or resume music playback. When you get an incoming call, just touch the handset to answer. I can also double-tap the right earbud to skip the current song (the same on the left earbud skips to the previous song). BATTERY: Like many other wireless headphones, the storage box itself has a rechargeable battery that charges the headphones when not in use. . The breathing light effect on the charging case indicates that the headphones are charging inside the case. While the paired smartphone shows how much battery is left in the earbuds, I wish there was a way to show the remaining battery on the case itself. I could listen to many hours of non-stop music on these headphones, and the memory supposedly, the case can fully charge the headphones 5 times before needing to be recharged. CONCLUSION: I am very happy with these headphones and forget I wear them sometimes because they are so comfortable and light. The active noise canceling feature makes calls very clear, and the IPX8 water resistance is a nice plus as I don't have to worry about wearing it outside in the rain. 5 out of 5 stars!
