I have purchased over 20 different styles of orthotics for chronic wrist pain. That's the first thing I can endure all night and not have extra pain in the morning just from wearing a corset. My pain radiates from my thumb knuckle through the top of my wrist to the outer edge of my wrist, one of the most painful spots. This bandage helps protect these painful areas without the added stress of the straps' position. The shorter length allows me to only hold my wrist and not pinch my forearm. I also like the palm padding. ***Update*** These are still great braces. I wear it every night and sometimes during the day when it hurts too much to move. My only complaint is that it doesn't come without a thumb tip. So I modified mine. I ordered my third because I wore out the bottom velcro faster than expected.
