The marionette joints work as intended, but the shank on the body is quite short. The lock washer attached to it cannot be pushed open without enlarging the hole but will snap into place. Granted, it's better than being too loose, but it still requires more effort on my part to make it work. For decades I have used Darice doll joints that had a longer stem, a regular flat washer, and a lock washer. Those are the puppet joints I measure all the others by. Unfortunately they don't seem to be available anymore. I can use the remaining Artibetter doll joints but I will not order them.
