Great value kit with everything you need to keep your vinyl clean. The nylon fiber brush and velvet brush have a sleek vintage look that I love, now I can keep them next to my turntable instead of having to put them away when not in use. The large brushes cleaned my (very dirty) records well and are pleasant to use, but be aware that the velvet brush can be a bit large for small hands (read: women's hands). The pin brush gets the job done. I've never had a decent one to compare it to but if you look through a magnifying glass the pen looks nice and clean. The only negative is the bag, it's too small to fit the whole set comfortably. You *fit* everything, it's just really tight. If he doesn't have one of the larger brushes, he safely stows the other, which is especially useful for the otherwise easy-to-lose small stylus brush. I haven't tried the cleaning liquid yet because I use a simple record washer for wet cleaning. The Vinyl Buddy stylus brush included in this kit is typically $9, while similar nylon fiber or velvet brushes start at around $7, so this kit offers a lot of value with good quality. And did I mention that I just love the vintage look?
