This case protects my Samsung tablet quite well. The fit is secure and the lid has about half an inch of padding to protect the screen. I don't know (nor do I want to know) what happens if I drop it in a corner. This seems to be the only weak point as the corners are closed but not really soft. There are two tilt positions in the horizontal position and both work well. Only one tilt position works for portrait orientation, and even that's not the most stable, but good enough since that's how I use my tablet. The case folds into a fairly flat open position, making it easy to hold in your hand. All the cutouts (camera, headphone jack, charging port, etc.) are perfect, as is the S Pen slot. Faux leather is pretty much just plastic. so i expect creases eventually, but not before i get my money's worth. Conclusion: This Fintie case is well thought out, well made and attractive. I would recommend it.
