Review on ๐Ÿช Heavy-Duty Swing Seat: Swing-N-Slide for Ultimate Durability and Fun by Anthony Morrow

Dads want to swing too

Edit: After a year the yellow rubber on the chain became very sticky. I see at least one other person complaining about this. I have a tire swing suspended a few feet from this swing that uses another company's coated chains and is fine. The sun/heat seems to spoil the coating. Nobody wants to use it because it's so sticky. replace chains. First Review: I wanted a swing seat that I could use while my daughter was swinging. It's rated at 350 pounds when used with the right hangers. I have a 250 and have no problem with it, even if I swing really high on it. Our 4x6 beam is 9 feet tall, so I used some quick links to add a few more chains to get the seat just off the ground. Another reviewer mentioned that the seat tipped over easily. When it arrived I noticed it too. After my daughter used it a few times I noticed that due to her weight the swing fits better with the metal rings on either side and doesn't tip over as easily. Now that I'm using it (much more weight), it stays up all the time, side up and doesn't want to tip over. A suggestion for installing this. Make sure the hangers are further apart than the back of the tallest person who will be using them. If you connect them further, the person's wider weight will cause the chains to try to stretch the distance between the hangers (causing the seat rings to cut into the person's sides). The rubber coating on the chain definitely makes it more comfortable to hold (mine came with a yellow chain with a green seat) and I wish the coating could go higher. Since they can support the weight of adults, they should be covered where adults tend to hold on to the chain. Overall, this is a great swing that can hold adult weight.
